After much fiddling about I finished my recycled plastic bag shopping bag!
I used 6 normal carrier bags and about half a metre of dark brown fabric. Sewing through the plastic was a little tough and my stitches are all wonky. It adds to the effect (I hope).
It's not quite as big as I would have liked but for a first go it's pretty neat!
I'm not sure how I'd sit with copyright laws if I wanted to sell these.
